Loon Pics
(1/1)
Glenn:
I was out in the canoe on the lake and took a few pics of a pair of loons at sunrise.
It's really interesting to watch them interact, see all the little things they do - As I was watching this pair, I noticed a single tail feather came out from one of the loons and it started 'wagging' and waving, then returned to it's place ... not sure what it meant, but I think the loon may been getting frisky :P I decided it best to leave them alone, and paddled along my way.
:)

Those are beautiful pics, Glen. I enjoyed looking at them. I always wonder the meaning of the gestures they do. Thanks for sharing

Hi Kandy glad you enjoyed the pic.
My cam is a basic Kodak Easy Share Z710 - 7 mega pixel I think.
I good light it seems to take some really good clear pics, but sometimes at sunrise, especially if there's mist or fog, it seems to not find the focus all the time, so many of the pics are hit and miss.
We have a lot of scenery pics that we've takes over the past couple of years. It's something we like to do (when we remember the camera) lol :P
of course, most times when we don't have the camera, or it's not ready, - that's the time when we see the bear or the moose or deer, or whatever... and if we're lucky enough to get a shot, it usually of their back end. :P
