Welcome to

The "Blue Realm" Show

An eclectic music experience in the " Ambient, New Age, Chill, Lounge" genres.

This program has been part of the gmhCafe Radio line-up for a while now, and we've decided to adopt this new format so members can submit their music, have it played in the show player, and promote their works through this topic thread.

This is where comments on tunes in the Blue Realm can be posted too.

This is your 5 minutes in the spotlight - up on the stage .... and it's all for fun!

Post your introduction and mp3 here (at the end of this forum topic.)
Write an introduction in the post where you upload your piece.

Upload mp3 file - 128kbps accepted.
To Upload:
•Click on REPLY at the top or bottom of this topic. (If it's not posted in this topic, your upload may get missed.)
•Type a few lines about yourself, along with an introduction about the piece you're uploading. •Click on the "Attachments and other Options" line, just below the posting window, and browse for your mp3 file. Select your file.
•After posting, to verify your file, click on the paperclip attachment, and play it.
•The mp3 file will be added to the "Blue Realm" Show playlist from within a short period of time, allow up to 48 hours.
•If you also have a video of your "performance", you may post it as a link in the text of your reply - To have your audio included in the "Blue Realm" Show player, you must provide a separate mp3, as mentioned above.

Hey there this is Ray Kohn , aka Agradeleous . I always loved Ambient music it always seemed to take the day stress of the day a way. As Glenn knows I mostly play Acoustic guitar and occasionally electric guitar pieces. Though I've playing for a long time only in the last 4 yrs did I start paying attention to what I was playing and how LOL. last yr I bought a M-audio oxygen 61 key board. I tinkered a bit but did not have the mind to make some of the programs work just to much over my head. haha . I needed to get a Daw that would work well with keys and audio so I could have a all in one set up. When Reason 6 was released I jumped on it. Were fighting still but she won't get a way so easily

I wanted to write a ambient song so now I had no excuse just did not know how. I was able to find some refills for Reason that were designed for this purpose and it gave me a starting point for this song called " Deep thoughts " I did not really do a lot of mixing on it more just trying to get a fell for it. The song turned out Ok for a start and I see and here things I will work on more next time. Always learning.

Ok well Glenn I forget so thanks for the reminder

as for the song info not much ... Inspired by early morning wake ups by my son and time to kill while coffee is being made .
Just received some new synth plug ins and was in the mood to check them out . So I did LOL found a few new ones I liked recorded added some other sounds from the banks mixed some effects and there you have it .
I worked on the song just Saturday and Sunday morning . The thunder storm was added last minute . I was not sure even with the name that I was interested in putting the storm in .
I had also deleted any storms I had made audio of ... why I have no Idea LOL anyway glad I remembered I had an MP3 at TTM for a down load . It worked out well .
