Happy Tales

A tale from the customer service business ...

At our office, most calls received are from concerned, and sometimes cranky, customers.  Well, today I received a phone call from a gentleman who phoned to say "thank you" for a suggestion I had made a few months ago.  He said the suggestion worked out better than he had thought, so  he wanted to thank me.  This nice gesture made my day.  To think someone took the time out of his day to phone.

Has someone on the other end of the phone line help you more than you expected?  A simple "thank you" could make someone's day.  :) :)

A story from a little birdie.

Have a nice day,

Good story, Bluebird.  I've often called (or written) back to customer support to tell them I appreciated the help.  As a tech support person myself I know how nice it is to get that kind of call/email...
A computer once beat me at chess - but as it turns out it was no match for me at kickboxing... ;)

Hi B
Nice that there are some people who will go out of their way to say "thank you'...

yah,,, there's hope for mankind!...  I like to think.
Old Eastern saying "Man who run in front of car, - get tired .... man who run behind car, get exhausted"
I like to ride IN cars, it's less tiring and less exhausting :)
