I shared this on our sister site so I thought I'd share it here as it's such a nice little song and I enjoyed the recording of it.

yeah, that's a cool little number from way back ... I'd say ummm... 69 or so...  Donovan,  as I recall.

not sure what the topic title means though.. siplicity  ?

at any rate, well done Dave!  I enjoyed the listen.
thanks for sharing.

Old Eastern saying "Man who run in front of car, - get tired .... man who run behind car, get exhausted"
I like to ride IN cars, it's less tiring and less exhausting :)

I don't remember hearing this one before, but it's a very pretty, gentle song.

well, ..... now it makes perfect sense.   :P

it does have a feeling of simplicity to it, not only in arrangement, but in melody as well.

I also liked hurdy gurdy man by Donovan.

Hurdy Gurdy Man was an early appearance of Led Zeppelin..... And Donovan also did the backing vox on Billion Dollar Babies by Alice Cooper......I kid you not...... So much for Tales for Little Ones ;)

And one of my faves "Barabajagal" featured the Jeff Beck Group.......

And let's not forget "isle of Islay" - that's where I'm originally from lol
