Hey Enchantress - very nice container garden set up you have.
just got back from a nice day, playing along with the boys in the band.
just a quick shout, howdy all - spent the day travelling the back roads -, recording streams, birds, etc - a beautiful day it was. and another 6 hrs. of material to edit. hope all's well with you!
I keep telling Rosie that Americans take stuff way too seriously...
yeah, we'd call it May '24' weekend cus you'd have to get a '24' case of beer... lol
No siree Old Goat - Victoria Day is the Monday before May 24th - but is still called 'May 24' by tradition.

I have a good sample of a Catbird, I think, who's call mimicks about a dozen or more birds, trying to act like the male of numerous species to drive them away.. it sounds amazing, the length of it's song!
I've been working around the house, listening to the new bird CD Glenn is producing. Very Nice.
Soon it'll be available for sale.

We had a few nice warm days, which brought out the black flies.. but that's ok, they bite, but they pollenate the blueberries.
The temp here just refuses to warm up. We've had sunshine but no warmer than 10 degrees C

I'm recording with 3 separate systems right now, 1 on a distant marsh, 1 by a stream, and 1 in my backyard (field and forest)
makes for an interesting listen back..and lots of editing. coffee please. lol

Went to watch my stepson--Rosie's youngest--get his MBA today. High point was a nice primavera fritatta at Charlie Gitto's.

Had another successful trade show. The community centre loaded up their 5-CD player with our CDs - so our music and nature CDs played in the entire complex during the show. Sweet.
Hi everyone, it must have been a nice time at the lake, Glenn, glad you two got a break. I luv blueberries, strawberries, cranberries, they're all so good.
Just got back from going to the lake for a sunset cruise tonight.. stars are out... no loons heard yet. and considering the ice just went out, the water wasn't that cold, really. It was a nice break!
"Strawberries? I don't remember how to pick strawberries."
"It's very easy, Norman, you just bend over and pick them."
I can't wait to pick blueberries. The wild ones are my favorite

Blueberries will be out in a month or so.. I'll be on those like a duck on June bug!
